Two NASA press releases give wildly wrong measurements.
Two NASA press releases give wildly wrong measurements. A NASA press release (Ref. 1) says a crack in Snow Queen measures 10 centimeters. Another NASA press release (Ref. 2) says the width of the photo in the press releases is 60 centimeters. In fact, NASA over-stated above two measurements by 250%. Real... more »

INSANITY AND IMMORALITY PRESIDING OVER GEOLOGY THEORIES
We are in the Valley of the Blind of G. H Wells ' fame with a lid of rock over our heads, and lid is called Hutton, Lyell, Darwin, Agassiz ' crude theories which although incoherent with new findings of the True Geology particularly, continue to be taught & foraged forcefully in young men throats. A defintive case & demonstration of Mankind ' s degeneracy and... more »

Free $100 In Gas at Your Favorite Station
I just discovered this new site that's giving away a $100 gas voucher, for free! Can you believe the price of gas these days? In my area it's currently over $4.75 per gallon, and all signs point to it going even higher, very soon. I remember the days when gas used to cost $0.99 per gallon, but those days are long gone.... more »

Rainbow Optics (RO) Star Spectroscope
So far I haven't had much success with a RO spectroscope on our museum's LDX-75 6" refractor. I'm told small refractors, f/6 to f/8, may be the best for it. When I attempt to focus on the spectrum, it looks like it has either diagonal or horizontal lines running through it. Has anyone had experience... more »

OFFICIAL INVITATION TO THE HINDMARSH ISLAND BRIDGE PARTY ON THE 10TH
I want to see you all down there for the event and I expect 50 000 to turn to watch the Murray Trickle on its final exhausted dash to the Ocean. Each one will have a lighted torch and on the stroke of Midnight under the immensity of the firmament canopy, lighted by the Moon & heralded by the Southern Cross 50 000 throats will then start singing... more »

Nothing Can Move in Spacetime. ahahaha... AHAHAHA... ahahaha...
Every few years, this nasty little truth about spacetime physics needs to be told. It seems that, even though this is something that is known to be true among a minority of the cognoscenti (Dr. John Baez included), it is almost never taught to physics students. Why? What is there to be afraid of? ahahaha...... more »

Free Speech and The Internet `
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- The Internet, and Usenet protocols, has afforded the unique privilege for uninhibited propagation of uncensored speech, some free, most not, because free is only where it's True ("Crimethink", "Thought-crimes") in diametric opposition to the Atheist Government's "Ministry of" [Ad... more »
