XP setup screen does not fill screen

I have a 22'' LCD/vga HDTv MONITOR Each time i have to reinstall XP, the setup screen is not centered so I can see ALL buttons that i need to press to get to the next function. I can no longer see the description or info of the show any longer. I used to be able to just touch the dvr-ms file with the cursor and I could see the description of the tv show and the title of it. Hello, I have the Haupppauge WinTV-HVR950 TV Tuner Product, and can receive tv shows on my PC (running Vista) with no problems. The problem comes when I try to display this image on my HDTV, which is a Phillips 52" HDTV with FullHD 1080p.
