mac to pc illustrator to fireworks color issues

I have files from a mac that are given to me in .ai format. In .ai or photoshop, the colors are ok on a pc, but as soon as the file goes into fireworks, the results are very darkened colors. missing font problem

Fireworks is not reflecting enabled and disabled fonts- There are fonts that I cannot use in fireworks (even though they are active, and available in Photoshop), and makes available fonts I have disabled. I've tried changing permissions, deleting prefs, font caches- Nothing seems to work.

Cannot drag images from websites to Fireworks

Hi, I have an annoying new problem with Fireworks CS3.. I hope I can get it fixed.. anyway, I was always able to drag an image from my folders or a website directly to the top grey bar, that would simply open the file for me. inset path buggy?

Hi, Whenever I use inset path to reduct my shape by 1px, it simplifies my shape, removing points. How to get inset path to work without any simplification? Thanks
