New disk label type 
  I added an empty SATA drive to my machine which runs a SCSI drive. When I go to partition it with cfdisk, the first think is I'm asked to select "New disk label type" and have the options amiga, bsd, gpt, msdos, etc. I googled to find out which I should use, but no clear answer. I suspect it is gpt, and I suspect it is the default.... more »

URGENT: Pendrive suddenly stopped working

atapi/dvd writer detected as ide-tape

How to apply SP3 to an Asus A8N SLI-Premium Mainboard based WinXP?

unable to mount a drive imaged using dd 
  I booted BackTrack3, and opened a terminal session to image an iDE drive with three partitions. The command was dd if=/dev/dha of=/dev/hdd conv=notrunc,noerror This seemed to run fine. Geforce GT 9500 does'nt work.

IP over FC and Qlogic QLE2460 and Linux (debian)
