I was in a public building recently and they were playing what seemed
to be a mix of hits from from the last few decades. I was there about
half an hour and knew all the songs played but one, but that one
almost had me bouncing out of my seat. I must know what it was, but no
one there knew, and the radio station (?) wasn't announcing the names
of the songs.
The only lyrics I could make out started (I think) "I get no...". They
were aggressively shouted by what sounded like several men. The lyrics
with the men shouting alternated with lyrics by a single woman, in a
very different style that reminded me a little of Enya. It was a very
odd mixture of what seemed like two very different styles, but the
song worked very well, at least for me.
Any ideas?
