Can anyone direct me to a location or person who has a nice clean copy
of "Could You Put Your Light On Please"? As many of us realize, the CD
and Chapin Collection/boxed set use an alternate version. I suspect
that the reason for this is that the original tape was damaged or lost
at some point in between the original LP release and any remastering
for CD.

The original is far better. I'm looking to pick up a nice copy of the
original song, without any analog hiss, scratching etc. I've got a
decent copy of the LP but it is far from ideal; I have given a brief
attempt to "clean up" the imperfections by software, but wondered
whether anyone has access to a really clean version of this fine piece
of work, or could refer me to a place where I might find it. (Even a
high resolution mp3 might be of use!)
