Bathroom stone counter question 
  I'm planning on having a custom quartz composite counter made for my bathroom. It's the "banjo" design - a narrow arm extends along the wall from the wider portion that's over the vanity. The arm will be 27" , ending at the juncture of the perpendicular wall. (Hope I explained this OK - a picture would be so much easier!)... more »

Concrete slab as roof, sealing it

outside [concrete] step 
  The precast step on this 35 year old house finally gave way. I am going to pour its replacement. There are two cantilevered supports from the house foundation on which the old step sat. Electrical question 
  I need to connect two (don't know what gauge yet --- 2.0 3.0 ???) electric cables together in such a manner that they can be disconnected in about a month after a complete new cable system is installed.
