Winamp crashes my WinXP, alternative software?

All of a sudden, Winamp 5.541 crashes my whole system (XP Home SP3 all updates). I load an audio CD in the tray, Winamp starts and looks into CDDB. Just a heads-up; I'd thought that pdf-editing was an integrated OOo 3.x function. From what I'm reading on the web, however, it's an add-on. IOW, if you want this new function, you'll need to add it /after/ installing 3.0.0. In theory, the extension is available here: <[link]>... more »

I just looked at the Open Office site and v3.0 is not yet listed. I became interested in the birds they use on their logo and started looking for what type of gull they are.
